About this app

SPARK is an electric car-sharing app for your affordable and eco-friendly travels in the EU cities: Sofia, Plovdiv, Vilnius and Kaunas.

We provide only electric cars to reach your destination in comfort and style, respecting the environment and saving your costs. Free-floating model allows you to start your trip in one location and leave SPARK car in any other location within designated zones as shown on the map. Your travels might take from few minutes to days – as long as you need a car at the affordable cost.

• Register – your driving licence and payment card are required.
• Find a car, reserve it and unlock via app.
• Pay for a time and distance – parking, charging, insurance and maintenance are included in the price.

Ratings and reviews

The car parking UX needs major improvement. It's often unclear where I am allowed to end my trip and park, leading to confusion and frustration. This needs to be much clearer within the app. After paying almost 50Eur for leaving a car in a place where I couldn't finish the trip, I received an additional fine of 50Eur for leaving a car in a place i couldn't finish the trip. Be careful using this app.

3 stars because this app used to be good. Now it's full of hidden fees, costs more than other transports, taxis included. Consider that with this service every time you need to invest time parking. With other means of transportation that problem doesn't exist. I also had technical problems with the cars at least 5 times. Usually, it happened in rushed circumstances and that gave me lots of problems. Used to be great, up to 2021, I used it a lot. Then quality just went down more and more.

The cars were always okay and abundant. Prices and regular support were also okay in general. I would like to use Spark again. My reason for low rating is that the underlying data model probably cannot cope with real life. My driving license expired (I have a new one) and I changed my last name. So my account was blocked. Getting my membership active again has a been a huge pain. I would like to be a returning customer but getting to that has proven difficult. Edit: got access after reviewing
