Detects and reads my card, but says its certificate is expired ... by the end of the month it was issued !? The card is valid until into 2031 !? Also it says PIN not set, but asks for current PIN (which hasn't been disclosed to me) to set it !? So other than to view the content of the data on the card, the app is basically useless... well it can be abused to scan other's cards to extract the data ... GDPR ... security ?

Leaves a bad feeling about security. First the terms contain sentences like "The Government may not be held liable for any errors the app may contain." "use at own risk" (I am liable for dependable systems I release to the public, why not the government?). The app promises to store the card password and bind it to biometrics and optionally store the full info including certificate on phone. It seems to do always both (or none) . That defeats the purpose of a chipcard.

The app does not work at all! It scans my Id card but switches immediately to the instructions to show me how a card must be scanned. I tried to 'scan' the card manually by typing my details and again it switches to instructions without accepting what I just typed.
