Ratings and reviews

Since the update that changed the cosmetic aspect of the app is failing to function correctly. Pushing on the updat notices often crashes the app or opens to an entirely different story. To read a story that I'm interested in now I have to open the app independently, navigate back to the homepage, update the homepage, and then scroll down the page until I (hopefully!) the story I wanted to see. It used to be a good app but this is so frustrating that I'm thinking of deleting it.

I love AP news and the app used to be great and user friendly. However, since the last update about 2 weeks ago, the app crashes, never opens the correct story when I click on one in my notifications, and I have to search all over the place for articles, even big news events. Half of the time the feed doesn't update when I open it and I am seeing the feed for a few days prior. It is unpredictable and there needs to be an update to fix all of these pain points.

This app sucks since it updated. Constant notifications, mostly about non-breaking news. It crashes often. Touching a notification used to take you right to that story, but since the update it either takes you to the main page or crashes 75% of the time. The font is much harder to read. The Top News page is crowded and ugly. I'm a journalist and have never been without the AP app, but I'm probably going to delete it and go with Wash. Post instead.
