Protects your car even when parked
Nexar senses impact and starts recording, even when your car is parked. Watch parking incidents when your phone connects to your dash cam.

Provides instant evidence
In case of an accident, the footage is automatically displayed on the Nexar app, and can also be accessed directly from the dash cam’s SD card.

5 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

Nexar saves what matters most. Your drives are saved to your phone based on available space. Dangerous incidents are automatically uploaded to your Nexar cloud, where they are never erased.

Nexar lets you control how much storage the app uses.

The dash cam connects to the app using its own WiFi signal. You'll still be able to use your data plan.

Nexar won't drain your data plan. The app uses data only after an incident was detected, to back up important evidence to your Nexar cloud account.

This review is strictly for the app and NOT the dash cam. I love the dash cam, but Nexar you have GOT to fix this app! Please make it easier to create clips! It's impossible to try to get a clip down to a reasonable size with normal adult sized fingers! Between the tiny size of the bar, and the video failing to load half the time, when I get it to finally work, click create clip, it won't create the clip! In the year of our Lord, 2024 it shouldn't be this difficult to edit a video on our phones!

For over a year, I've not been able to do a live stream while away from my cam. Alerts are received until I connect to my dashcam, not while away, but with the LTE add on that shouldn't be the case, as advertised. Support only gives you the generic trouble shoots to only tell you it's your phone's reception. Then they switch to the camera being in a poor reception area. So I asked for a new camera, wasn't sent one. I asked for an LTE add-on, they won't since they can't confirm that's the issue.

Edit 9/1 from 3stars to 1. Kind of pointless to have a dashcam if i cannot reveiw footage at all. Edit AGAIN 2/21/24 still cannot go back and view footage if it's more than a couple days old. It says connection to camera lost when I try to veiw or create a clip. I even tried sitting in the car with it connected and it will not let me view some particularly important footage from a few days ago. Can't even watch the clips I've made if I didn't save them to my phone. Don't waste your money.
