* Permissions Notes *

- READ_CONTACTS is required to be able to include contact thumbnails in the created app, and then only if specified by the user
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is required to put the new app on external storage (note: on some devices, 'external storage' is non-removable, which is also fine)
- WAKE_LOCK is required to stop the device sleeping while the app is being created
- created apps do not necessarily have these permissions, only the ones needed for the functions they use

Ratings and reviews

As much as I love tasker, this app factory is limited. The only apps you can make are toggle apps similar to the toggles on your android and there is no need for that. I've been working to create an app that exports the Profile/trigger events along with the tasks and scenes for an entire day and it exports only scenes that don't work. I'm doing everything right according to tutorials online but when i install the app the app only opens scenes once and then i can't reopen it. It's a nightmare!

This worked months ago when i first discovered it, but i just tried now without success. From Tasker, i select a task, and select Export from the burger menu, then I select As App, but nothing else happens, no dialogue pops up like it used to. Tried rebooting phone, and reinstalling this app, no luck. Can anyone help? If so, I'll happily asjust the low score.

Works great on my OnePlus phone. So I side loaded it on my Android TV but I can't pass the Disclaimer screen while creating an app from the Tasker. Can you fix this? The same issue was there for Tasker Disclaimer page but when I hit back on that page a pop-up is displyed to confirm. Something similar would help in this case also. Thanks.
