HTC one Come on yes can do better than that. What's hard about having an hourly forecast for your location?? And a widget?? Really I'd b as well goin online and checkin your website. . . It only tells me what the last 3 hours were like!! what the f#*k do I need to know what the weather was like 2 hours ago?? Needs serious upgrading. . Pity kuz Ireland needs good weather app!!!
Why does it have to reload? When you exit the app by going home or turning the screen off, the app needs to reload from scratch when going back to it. This can take a while if you have a slow connection. There is a lovely refresh button in the app already, so why not let the app stay in memory? Also it would be nice to have the five day forecast with wind, wave etc. like the website.
Brilliant for sea area forecast Thanks for creating this app. The one thing that a seafarer in Ireland needs is up-to-date weather info. In many places we don't get VHF transmission but do receive mobile so it's great to have options. Works great and simple to use.
Great app Its a weather app. Pretty much flawless. Dispite a slightly grainy image the interface is very good. Its mostly a port of their online website made into an app. Needs the short range forecast to be added in. Thats why everyone uses the rainfall radar, by far the most usefull feature and its still not in the app. The rainfall radar is good, but the short range forecast would be much better. Add it in and its 5 stars.
HTC One Great to have an accurate and up-to-date weather app just for Ireland. Only question I have is. - Why not have a map showing the predicted radar rainfall for the day. Pointless knowing rainfall over the last 2 or 3 hrs when it's really the expected rainfall we look for. Otherwise. - Great app. Tks
Needs serious upgrade This is just the mobile website stuck into a webview within the app. I can just go to their website to get the same information. Also, their mobile side is missing lots of information from their main site. I would love to see a nice user friendly native app with all the goodies from their website. This is frustrating because met eireann is always the best place to get the weather and most accurate in Ireland; and to top it off, it doesn't even have a widget.
