HOW TO PLAY BATAK?
Batak is played with 4 players and a 52-card deck; each player is dealt 13 cards, and the trump suit is spades. After the cards are dealt, each player states how many hands they will take based on the cards in their hand. The goal is to take that number of hands.

The player whose turn it is plays one card; the other players must play cards of the same suit. If a trump suit has been played, the player must play a card that surpasses the highest card in that suit; if raising is mandatory, the player must play a card that surpasses the highest card in all suits. If you don't have a card of that suit, you must play a trump; if you don't have a trump, you must play any card you want. The hand is taken by the highest trump card, or if there is no trump card, the highest card of the suit played.

If you reach the number you stated, each hand you win counts as points; if you don't reach it, you lose and your points decrease. Hands you win more than you stated count as "sides"; if the number of "sides" exceeds the table limit, you lose again.
