HOW TO PLAY CHECKERS?
Turkish checkers is played between two players with 16 pieces each on an 8x8 board. The pieces are placed in the second and third rows closest to the player; the first row remains empty. The goal is to capture all of the opponent's pieces or to prevent the opponent from making any moves.
Pieces move one square forward, to the right, or to the left; they cannot move backward or diagonally. If the square immediately behind an opponent's piece is empty, a piece can be captured by jumping over that piece, and capturing can continue in the same move. Capturing a piece is mandatory; if there is more than one option, the path that captures the most pieces should be played.
The piece that reaches the last row becomes the king. Checkers can move any number of squares forward, backward, right, and left, and can capture distant pieces.
