About this app

OsmAnd+ is an offline world map application based on OpenStreetMap (OSM), which allows you to navigate taking into account the preferred roads and vehicle dimensions. Plan routes based on inclines and record GPX tracks without an internet connection.
OsmAnd+ is an open source app. We do not collect user data and you decide what data the app will have access to.

Ratings and reviews

This app is not great for driving navigation in rural USA. The address entry system is awkward as it feels like the format is designed for another country. It doesn't even place me in the right county (map issue not GPS because it navigates just fine when programmed with GPS coordinates instead of addresses). Depending on phone you still need data to get your location so not truly offline. Get a separate GPX editing app and use for sports to know roughly where you are.

subscribed to see what the difference is...Not much of a difference that I can see. AA needs to be much much better. Map stays way too zoomed in and does not zoom in/out at a stop. Speedometer is not the same as vehicle which is very odd. No speed limits? Any extras like poi etc are oversized and takes up too much on the screen. distraction when it shouldn't be. I thought the weather would add a widget to the screen but it doesn't. I don't know what the point of it is...it's useless as it is now

The closest to a perfect navigation app for moto adventuring and moto camping. The only thing I would add is to make the menus more intuitive. Perhaps reorganize things menu items? For example, if the tracks/GPX was a little easier to manage, that would be awesome. I always forget where to find the folders containing the tracks. Also, moving tracks to one folder doesn't always work. Move should be cut, not copy. There are other things that I wish could be improved upon.
