About this app

The official UNICO Campania app allows you to:

buy integrated and corporate tickets to move around by public transport throughout the Campania Region, with the following companies:
AIR
ANM (Autolinee only)
BUSITALIA CAMPANA
CTP
EAV
EAV Autolinee
SITASUD CAMPANIA
TROTTA BUS
 

consult the timetables of all the companies

organize your trip, inserting the point of departure and arrival, and seeing all the solutions you can choose from, including integrating multiple transport companies

discover the stores closest to you

find the fare associated with the route you are interested in

always have everything at hand, without the need for paper tickets.

 

To purchase tickets, just create an account with email and password and choose between top up the credit in the app or use one of the many payment methods available: Visa and Mastercard, Satispay, SisalPay, Masterpass, Postepay and PayPal (for amounts from € 50 up). You can also register your card and use it when you need it without re-entering all the data every time.

 

With your personal account you can always have travel tickets with you, in the My titles section, but also access the complete list of all purchases in the Movement List.

The app requires SMS verification to create an account. It lists US/Canadian country prefixes as valid options, but then never sends the SMS. I tried dozens of times over weeks, from both the US and Italy itself. I emailed the support team and got no response. ATM (Milan) and ATB (Bergamo) have way better apps for their transit, that allow you to buy tickets without SMS verification - what's the point? This developer also does AMTS Catania with the same impossible block/lack of support.

- no timetables, looks like scam (it is not) - all options are the same - everything is in italian, although you chose English - unclear how to validate - more expensive than purchasing on the station or machines - requires credit card information before anything at all. 0 stars.

I have only used it to buy train tickets so no parking. I don't understand why the app needs to be online when accessing the ticket to check the QR code again. Connectivity on mobile is flaky when moving on train or not available on a metro underground. In my opinion when the ticket is bought and validated, the QR code and the date and time of validity should be always available on the app offline.
