This app will allow you to select a parking spot, pay for it, and then the city tickets you for being in a spot that they collected parking fees for. After that, I requested my account be closed and the funds on file be refunded. It took over 8 months to get the check, and about a dozen emails from me met with "oh we don'tknow how long it will take" - what finally worked and still took a month was contacting them through their website rather than the existing email chain.

Downloaded to pay for parking the same day. Was able to create an account (though verifying a phone number shouldn't be necessary for something like this and feels invasive). App wouldn't let me add a credit card. I didn't get an error, it just took me to an empty screen with no text or buttons. Cool. We tried on my partner's phone, exact same behavior (also Android). I tried to call ParkNYC and was kept on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up, I had somewhere to be. Bad app.

Unbelievably buggy app. Tried to use it last night. Would not accept my credit card. Kept saying "card must be approved for online use". Now this is a card I have been using everywhere for years - including online. I wasted 20 minutes standing on the sidewalk in front of the meter trying to figure this out. Had to go find an expensive garage at the last minute. Just horrible!
