Best Times tells you when game moves and fish feed - and when the law says you can hunt.

The app works out solunar major and minor periods for your exact location, rates every day, and shows the legal shooting light window for your state. Sun and moon times are computed on your device, so they are right whether or not you have a signal.

HUNT AND FISH MODES
Game and fish do not respond to the same conditions. Switch modes and the rating re-weights: fishing leans harder on the moon and on barometric pressure, hunting on cold fronts and calm wind.

LEGAL SHOOTING LIGHT
The legal window for your state, with the rule it comes from spelled out - "30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset" - for all 50 states.

WEATHER-AWARE RATINGS
Pressure trend, wind and temperature against the seasonal normal all feed the day rating. Falling pressure ahead of a front is a feeding spike; a gale is not.
