I found this browser by searching for forks of Firefox. Firefox seems to be less and less user friendly. Waterfox was easy to set up. The text and pictures are clear, and it is fast. I used Dark Mode with the extension Dark Reader for my eyes and extension uBlock Origin just in case Waterfox needs a little privacy help. But maybe it doesn't. So far this has been a happy browser experience. Update: It's great!

it's a great browser. It uses french based Quant as a search engine. You can easily deactivate the Flash Answers which are AI generated. and get more relative search result answers.. ya know that 🤔 thing Google used to do. I gave it 4 stars because it comes with an AI search engine that is on by default. if it was deactivated by default I'd give it 4.5 stars. If the AI was never there at all, I'd give it 10 stars 😂

I've used WaterFox since inception. I used to use Firefox, but after that turned into a data collection browser, I opted to switch to this one. The user interface is pleasing & the controls are also well thought out. Some of the Firefox features are included, such as tab syncing & bookmarks. All in all, a nice little browser that doesn't use a lot of resources and is privacy focused

Emergency fix: Ultra DNS is now disabled by default to address website loading issues. DNS settings you explicitly selected remain unchanged.
