I found this browser by searching for forks of Firefox. Firefox seems to be less and less user friendly. Waterfox was easy to set up. The text and pictures are clear, and it is fast. I used Dark Mode with the extension Dark Reader for my eyes and extension uBlock Origin just in case Waterfox needs a little privacy help. But maybe it doesn't. So far this has been a happy browser experience.

it's a great browser. It uses french based Quant as a search engine. You can easily deactivate the Flash Answers which are AI generated. and get more relative search result answers.. ya know that 🤔 thing Google used to do. I gave it 4 stars because it comes with an AI search engine that is on by default. if it was deactivated by default I'd give it 4.5 stars. If the AI was never there at all, I'd give it 10 stars 😂

alright. this is the best browser in my opinion because no matter what, I'll try any other browser and I come back to water fox every time. it really does run better than firefox while not being as cumbersome as chrome. it works on pc and phone and syncs across both, it's hard to find another Firefox alternative that has this much personality and lack of bloatware (like a lot of browsers come with now days) 2026 is a great year to use Waterfox.
