I'd been stubbornly sticking to v68.11 ever since the redesign, but finally decided to give the latest version another try... it's okay, mostly. The password manager is much better, and I haven't run into any pages that just don't work...though there are some where elements are sized strangely. My only major annoyance at the moment is how frequently it reloads tabs; switching windows and coming back causes it to refresh, rather than just staying loaded.

Recently Firefox Nightly had a few amazing updates. Aside from supporting a wide range of extensions (even Tampermoneky, so you can use your userscripts from the desktop version), it now is able to open PDFs within the browser (just like Safari on iOS) and it's the first Android browser (that I know about) which can do that. It was the only feature that I used to like in Safari and it was such a bummer that it wasn't available on Android. Thanks Mozilla! Keep it up.

I just want to say thank you to all the hard work that the Firefox devs put into this app and the rendering engine beneath it. It is very important to the open web that we keep having an independent browser that supports privacy and extensions on mobile. I can't imagine using the web without the vital privacy features that Firefox provides.
