About this game
Klopt! is the pub quiz for your group of friends. No venue and no fixed evening: you play the quiz night whenever it suits you, and still together.
TYPE IT YOURSELF, DON'T GUESS
At Klopt!, you type the answer yourself. So, open questions, no four buttons to choose from. Your answer is checked for what you meant, not how you spelled it: a typo or a different spelling of the same name won't cost you a point. For variety, there are also multiple-choice questions and drag-and-drop rounds. Klopt! is in Dutch and the quiz questions are handwritten, covering general knowledge, sports, history, music, and everything in between.
QUIZ IN TEAMS
Play in a team of up to five. After each round, you see the team results: who got what right and how the team performed. In the team chat, you can discuss that one question everyone got wrong.
YOUR OWN PUB
A pub is your group of friends. Create one and share the pub code, or join someone else's. Within your pub, you can see the leaderboard, who has already played which round, and where everyone stands. Additionally, there is a national ranking running across all players. No pub? Then you simply participate in the leaderboard.
THE HONESTY BONUS
A pub quiz where you can look everything up is not a quiz. That is why Klopt! checks during a round if you leave the app. If you stay in, you earn the honesty bonus. If you switch off, it is forfeited, and your fellow players will see that too. No one is stopping you; it just counts towards your score.
HOW IT WORKS
• Each quiz consists of eight rounds, spread over two weeks
• A round has ten questions and a ten-minute timer
• In the first three days after opening, your points count towards the leaderboard; You can always play later
• You only see what was correct after the entire round, just like in a real pub quiz
MORE IN THE APP
• Your Klopt! rating, which adjusts based on how you perform against the rest
• Badges, from the first round to the rare ones
• Multiple pubs at once, if you belong to different groups
• A notification when a new round is ready
• Spotted a marking error? Report it in the app and you will hear the result
