Watch everything from the NPO in one app. In this app you will find NPO Start and NPO Plus. Watch national and international films, series, talk shows, documentaries, news and current affairs programmes. Or watch live NPO 1, NPO 2, NPO 3 or one of the digital theme channels. Missed the start? Then watch live from the beginning. All programs appear online shortly after the broadcast.

With an NPO Plus account you can look back longer, watch without ads and in HD quality.

Without registration you can:
- Watch programs back
- Watch live: watch NPO 1, NPO 2 and NPO 3 and the digital theme channels live
- TV guide: see what is broadcast on NPO 1, NPO 2, NPO 3, NPO Zapp/Zappelin and the extra channels
- Search in all programs
- Connectivity: watch Chromecast videos on your television
- Disable viewing over 3G/4G: If your device supports it, you can disable viewing over 3G/4G in the settings menu

The app has the following functionalities if you create a (free) NPO Start account:
- Watch further on all your devices: the app remembers where you left off in a show so you can continue watching at another time on a different device
- Create multiple profiles, for example a safe environment for children
- Favorites: Add your favorite series, shows and episodes to your favorites so you never miss a new episode.
- Create your own watch list: add programs you want to watch later to your watch list
- Enjoy personalized recommendations

With an NPO Plus account, the following extra functionalities are added:

- Up to a year after broadcast in HD

Ratings and reviews

Was good, now useless. Unstable as all hell, completely freaks out if you even slightly tilt your device4, resulting in video playback breaking. The radio streams are so absurdly broken in this app you're better off with any proper media player and just pulling the feeds in that. We won't even go into them paywalling content you already paid for with your taxes+ads.

This is why there should be a standard for what constitutes "a developer" (and NO it's not how many Hacker Rank questions you can solve 🙄) or why non developers should have zero say in what gets implemented. Like the other 1000 people on here, constant crashing and buffering, and this has been going on for at least 3 YEARS.

Every time I watch an episode of whatever show on the tv version of the app, it makes my tv unresponsive at the end of the episode, resulting in my tv crashing and rebooting after several minutes or me having to physically unplug the tv to reboot it.
