About this app

Hi, I'm Vipps! A very, very easy app for sending and receiving money in the Nordics. Sending money (vippsing) is safe and done in a flash – just like it should be.

With Vipps, you can:
• send and receive money between Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland
• schedule gifts with digital wrapping
• settle costs like dinners, weekend getaways with your friends
• pay in-store, online and at flea markets in Norway

To use Vipps you need BankID, a Norwegian/Swedish phone number, a Norwegian/Swedish bank card and account, as well as an email address.

Vipps is available in English, Norwegian (bokmål and nynorsk), Swedish, Danish and Finnish.

Made in the Nordics, with love for making things very, very easy.

Suddenly stopped working, saying 'delete and reinstall, it's possible that phone has been modified'. This problem repeats every other day. This is unacceptable. Latest version is a very bad. Vipps is not "very very easy" any more. Not useful. I recommend better, more established platforms like Google or Apple pay, or even PayPal. (It's also noticeable that vipps stopped responding to app reviews circa 2021, too busy making and fixing bugs?)

Suddenly stopped working today, with a message claiming I need to update the app. There is no newer version in the play store. I have had similar issues several times with Vipps. You can't rely on it working when you need it, making it useless for payments.

After adding a VISA card from Nordea, no balance is shown in the app. It doesn't let me adding any new cards or receiving account. Really very bad app overall, the result of coping/pasting other successful apps in the industry without knowing how they work
