About this app

Hi, I'm Vipps! A very, very easy app for sending and receiving money in the Nordics. Sending money (vippsing) is safe and done in a flash – just like it should be.

With Vipps, you can:
• send and receive money between Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland
• schedule gifts with digital wrapping
• settle costs like dinners, weekend getaways with your friends
• pay in-store, online and at flea markets in Norway

To use Vipps you need BankID, a Norwegian/Swedish phone number, a Norwegian/Swedish bank card and account, as well as an email address.

Vipps is available in English, Norwegian (bokmål and nynorsk), Swedish, Danish and Finnish.

Made in the Nordics, with love for making things very, very easy.

Ratings and reviews

This app doesn’t work. While setting up my account, it stops working when I’m asked to enter my debit card details. I’ve tried all seven of my debit cards, and it always shows the same message: “undefined”, so clearly it’s not a problem with my debit cards but with the app itself. This is a useless app. I would give it less than zero stars if possible.

Tap to pay stopped working after a recent update without the app being open and in the front. Still set as the default wallet and NFC payment method so nothing has changed on my phone.

lacks proper error handling. gives generic messages that leaves you guessing. support is untrained.

What’s new

A few bug fixes as usual, and settlements have had a little refresh! Now you can chat, react with emojis and settle up as you go. Happy vippsing!
