About this app

Find all public transport departures across Vestland, including bus, light rail, ferry, and train.

With the Skyss app, you can:
• see how long your journey will take from where you are to where you're going, including walking time
• buy tickets for yourself or others
• view departure times and see where your service is on the map, in real time
• receive up-to-date information about delays and disruptions
• save stops as favourites
• find available city bikes and e-scooters

If you sign in to the app, you can also:
• rest assured that your tickets, journey history, and favourites are safely stored with us – even if you change your phone
• book on-demand bus services through Skyss Book-a-ride
• get faster and better support from our customer service team

Ratings and reviews

Terrible app! Even the previous planning app was better. It's no longer possible to save lines from one stop to another, only from the starting stop to the ends of the line. Changing the departure time of a search requires 10 separate taps. Saved journeys require being logged in and disappear the moment you don't have a data connection, so it's useless without 4G. I'm sticking with the Vy app for purchasing tickets where I know I can access my ticket while offline.

Can't add trips across multiple stops to favourites! UI and UX are much worse than the old version in almost every way. Buying a ticket here is just more difficult than buying it in the Billett app, because of the point above. You could have combined the planning feature and ticket system without thoughtlessly ruining everything else. Also, the buss routes change every minute. This warrants a serious effort to reinstating the previous functionality. Why make it harder to use public transport?

terrible redesign. absolutely terrible. so many functions and options from before I missing. I can't save my favorite bus routes, can't see the different times the same bus comes after selecting it, app doesn't show how many minutes left until the bus arrives. Just an awful redesign that made the app more confusing and less useful.
