About this app

Life Poem is a memory keeper made specifically for older adults. Speak your stories in your own voice; we listen, ask gentle questions, and turn your words into beautiful written chapters that your family will treasure for generations.

We built Life Poem because every elder has a lifetime of stories — about childhood homes, first jobs, weddings, hard years, the grandchildren — that deserve to be saved before they fade. Most memoir apps are built for writers; this one is built for grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers, and fathers who would simply like to talk.

How it works
1. Choose a chapter of your life — Childhood, School Days, Career, Family, Travels, Life Lessons, or Wishes for Those You Love.
2. Hold the microphone and speak. There is no rush, no time limit, and no "right way" to tell a memory.
3. A warm, patient guide on the screen asks one gentle question at a time, drawing out the time, place, people, and feelings.
4. When your story is full enough, the app writes it out for you as a 300–600 word chapter in prose, diary, or letter form. You can keep it, read it again, or share it with your family.

Privacy you can trust
Your stories are yours. Recordings and conversations are kept safely in your account, encrypted as they travel, and are never sold. If you ever change your mind, you can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app.

Help from family is welcome
Many elders use Life Poem with an adult child or grandchild for the first session. After that, most are comfortable on their own — the app is designed to feel like a friendly conversation, not a piece of software.
