It's okay but could be better. Sometimes the app loads on my androidauto, sometimes it doesn't; this seems to happen most often when I'm out of cell service areas. If you download the offline maps it still struggles to navigate you with the route so be prepared to just turn your screen to "always on" and follow best you can. The satellite imagery could be better to see the trail details. Login issues where sometimes I just get server error and it works when it wants to. Don't buy a full price.

Offline maps have been a nightmare. I subscribed about a year ago. At the time, with a low res map, you could select map sizes that were almost half an entire state (I wish I could download without satellite, but that's another issue). The problem was, the app would crash downloading larger maps. Instead of fixing that, they reduced the map size. It takes 12 maps to download my state. Fix the real problem and bring back big offline maps or I'm not renewing.

Hi Matthew, we're sorry to hear about the frustrations you have been experiencing. You can still download larger maps by zooming in and out during the time of creation. If you can email our support team, they will be happy to walk you through this and address the crashing issue. Help@onxmaps.com

All self built routes default to shortest distance. This can be worked around only by dropping multiple points along the same road. Sounds simple except it does not always work. It also results in the GPS announcing a right or left turn at each dropped point: Annoying dangerous especially in unfamiliar territory. I hope I can find a better choice for adventure riding.
