The Easy To Read Bible (ERV) is clear and easy to understand, especially for those who have limited experience with English including people learning the English for the first time.

The Easy-to-Read Version of the Bible, published in 1989 by the World Bible Translation Center—founded in 1973 in Arlington, Texas—was initially prepared to meet the special needs of the deaf and was first published by Baker Book House as The English Version for the Deaf. The first-draft work on The English Version for the Deaf was done by WBTC’s in-house translators who are Greek and Hebrew scholars and deaf-language consultants. The Easy-to-Read Version has also recently undergone a major revision to better meet the needs of its target audience and evangelistic outreach (via ministries to prisons, the homeless) as well as those with limited English. The revised text is also more suitable for oral reading, since many who understand spoken English are not literate.

Suddenly it's gone all black screen since days. Not a single word is to be seen! I saved so many verses in multiple created folders according to my requirements- Nor can i access them or read the Bible even after clearing cache & forcing restart. Re-installing would mean losing all my data. Pls rectify the issue with the app.

This bible has helped me begin to understand the word of God . it has been my way of becoming a better me. I have try to read and understand other bibles but it never sticks. With this I can read any time ,I can highlight in different color and go back to get a better understanding of what I read or re read. I am so thankful this is available because I found it when I needed it the most. Thank you whoever made this version and whoever chose to make it free.

I read my Bible and then read this version. It helps me understand a verse better. I always read my NKJV first. It really helps me sometimes with clarity of the verse. I am updating my review because I was reading in Hebrews 6 and verses 18-20 are omited. January 11-2024 this is the second time that your version has omitted a verse. Psalms 73 verse 28. I'm concerned and question if I want to continue using this app.
