About this app

Berean Standard is a reader for the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), made with the care of a fine printed Bible and the speed of a native app. One translation, chosen deliberately: the BSB is public domain, translated by credentialed scholars, and written in the English people actually speak.

THE READING PAGE
Scripture is set the way a great print Bible sets it: a warm paper page, a serif built for long reading, generous margins, poetry laid out as poetry, and section headings kept quiet. Turn to any book and it opens on its own title page. Chapters begin with a large drop capital. Nothing shouts; the Word is the page.

CHOOSE HOW IT FEELS
Read on warm cream by day or Night Vellum after dark, or let the page follow your system theme. Pick your typeface, size, and line spacing. Turn verse numbers and headings on for study, or off for pure reading. Turn on red letters if you love them.
