Where does your salary go every month?

Your salary arrives once, but spending happens all month. Ektifai brings your salary, budgets and expenses into one screen so you can see where the money actually went and what is left of your plan.

Plan your monthly budget
• Add your salary and set the day it lands to get a payday reminder.
• Give every expense its own monthly budget.
• Track planned versus actual for each item and for the whole month.

• A category breakdown ranked highest to lowest, with each item's share of total spending.

Record transactions with less typing
Core Android feature: bank transaction SMS reading.
• With your explicit permission, Ektifai reads debit and transfer messages to extract the amount and merchant and suggest the matching expense.
• One-time passcodes (OTP) and non-bank messages are ignored.
• Prefer not to grant permission? Paste the message or record the transaction manually at any time.
• Review your spending history and search by period, expense or merchant.

Compare prices before you buy
• Search from inside an expense for listed options and prices for what you need.
• Compare results and apply the price that fits your budget.
• Prices and availability change; check with the retailer before buying.

Turn an expense into a saving and investment goal
• Create an estimated goal to cover a chosen expense from potential investment income.
• Compare return scenarios and see the estimated capital and monthly saving required.
• Track the invested amount and your progress toward the goal.

Privacy first
• Bank messages are parsed on your device, and raw message text is never stored in your cloud data.
• Ektifai is not the default SMS app and never sends SMS.
• Guest mode: your budget and spending data stays on your device and is not uploaded.
• We never send your salary or transaction amounts in usage data.
• We do not sell your personal data for marketing.

Frequently asked
• Does it read all my messages? No. It processes bank transaction messages only, ignores passcodes and personal messages, and the permission is entirely optional.
• Do I need an account? No. Start as a guest with data stored locally, and create an account only if you want to sync across devices.
• Does it work offline? Yes, planning, recording and analysis run on your device.
• What is the difference between planned and actual? Planned is the budget you set, actual is what you really spent, and the gap tells you where to adjust.
• Is it built for Saudi salaries? Yes, it is designed for the Saudi market in riyals and recognizes Saudi bank message formats.
