I haven't bought books in years (cuz I only like e-books) but couldn't find a model I wanted to support. Never was a kindle guy (thank goodness). Being able to support local bookstores through this app is SO cool!! Also I love their support for as much non-DRM content as possible and hope they'll continue that fight. Thanks for helping me find hope and enjoyment in reading again. The only improvement I recommend are renaming the app to just "Bookshop" and fixing the app icon to be adaptive.

This app is ok, unless you have a spotty connection or you're offline, then the app generally freaks out, crashes, and prevents you from reading the books you've purchased. That's crazy - online / offline should make zero difference, and the fact that the app is so focused on being online makes it useless half the time. I can't believe they haven't fixed this when it's such a basic, simple thing.

I love the store and the organization, but the app has some bugs and issues that make it hard to enjoy - biggest for me is the wonkiness with trying to select text (to highlight or annotate). It is very glitchy and often jumps around the page and paragraph and makes it hard to select what you are trying to. Additionally, more precise bookmarks would be nice - when I set a bookmark, it marks the whole chapter, not the page I am on. I'd love to provide more feedback or help out!
