Flexible, speedy and easy. Accuracy comes easy with the colour-change frequency read out. Adjusting out to non-standard pitch settings is easy. Responsiveness is good and I particularly like that the readout gives notes in Hertz as well as note-name (A - G) readings. En and Bb would be nice to have but I do like this app and it's update
Old version excellent this sucks The previous version was so awesome! Beautiful high precision interface that wasn't "flighty" . It could tell when a string hit it's pitch and stayed there. It did a great job tuning my 12 string. Beautiful. This version looks like playschool took over. Needle won't stick, tone recognition is just wrong interface blows now. Please bring back previous version. I'll gladly pay!
The previous version was good, but this is great. It's a twelve note tuning that doesn't make me choose an instrument, and I think it's more accurate than tuners that I've purchased... and constantly had to change the batteries on! FWIW I use it to tune a ukulele, and I repeat, I think it has the best tuning finesse I've come across yet.
Now enlightened, great app. Would like the 'auto tune' feature the previous version had Kindly it was explained to me that the corresponding guitar string on top will centre when the right note is selected underneath. Back to 4 stars. Fantastic again, thanks for the email and tutorial. Having read many negative reviews, I must say I agree that I did prefer the previous version. All round it was just a better app.
ruined a good thing before this update this was a more than adequate tuner (considering its a phone/tablet app). you could adjust the mic sensitivity and (imo) the accuracy was much higher. now the adds are bigger and they made it TOO universal and TOO complicated. doesnt need to be. i can even tolerate the adds if the product is worth it. sadly I'll be uninstalling this app after years of use. who knows many of you might like/love it but its time for me to move on.
New Version Is Awesome Hey I like this new version. This version minimizes the detection of surroundings' noise, therefore becomes easy to use. Plus you don't have to click anything just open the app and pluck the string to tune. I don't get those saying this new version is crap. Maybe they're having hard time using it. They don't know they don't have to click anything, just open the app and it is automatic.
What's new? Everything! v2.0 is a complete rewrite of the successful, but aging tuner released 7 years ago. It has an updated fundamental detection engine, fancy material design and a few new tricks up its sleeve. Hope you like it.
1. improved fundamental frequency detection,
2. fixed tinting of appcompat radio button selectors.
