I have been using this app basically since Android devices came out. Something messed up with the new update and it doesn't work anymore. The dial doesn't move, it doesn't sense notes. This is THE essential android app that I have always installed on every phone I've had. Please fix the bug so I can keep using it!

Thomas, please follow the instructions under Settings -> Troubleshooting. If selecting the "chromatic" instrument, and trying the 3 audio input source options would not resolve your issue, please send an email to gstrings_at_cohortor.org. Thank you for helping making this app better.

A bit frustrated. I was a paid user. upgraded and the upgrade did not automatically pick that up. Uninstalled the old version then realized I was getting adds. Go into settings and I had to do something before I uninstall the old. Now I can't reinstall the old version to address that. So now I have to decide if I pay more money or just uninstall it. I've recommended this to many people so it is frustrating to be treated this way.

Scott, sorry to see this; please send an email to gstrings_at_cohortor_org. I am confident we can quickly resolve this unintented experience. Please start with cohortor.org/gstrings/faq.html (and finding the Google Play Order ID in your mailbox to identify if you have paid for the separate paid app, or disabled ads in the free app).

Incredibly accurate and useful. Can choose different namings of notes in other countries (though i don't change that setting but for review's sake), various other settings for string pitches, octaves, etc. I love that you can have it listen for the note and even play it monotone through the speaker, along with the dial for how close to the shown note it is. Wonderful tuner and it's not only useful for tuning guitars but when i compose to get the note in my head for the score. Totally recommend!!
