Ratings and reviews

The app is clean and the registration process is smooth. However (and a BIG however)., they want to charge $3.99 as a monthly subscription to read reviews. I'm not willing to go behind a paywall and lock in to a subscription service for reviews. Reviews are readily available online, and the app doesn't add enough value to justify any subscription.

It's a great site to get a good idea of how mature media is. That being said, it doesn't take into account any of the reviews people leave and is very harsh. There is one movie that parents say is 12+ and 4/5 stars but this app says 14+ and only 2/5 stars. Read the "parents say" and the "kids say" sections.

They don't tell you that it's a pay only platform when you're signing up. I spent a lot of time setting up my account and kids details only to find that you only get to view 3 reviews aonth unless you want to pay.
