Useful for making quick voice notes I can come back to later, and for recording audio observations for iNaturalist when I can't *see* noisy animals. Should work fine for longer recordings too. Basic mono, several bitrate and format options including M4A, MP3 and Ogg. Your audio stays on your phone. No ads, no subscriptions, no remotely-generated transcripts, just basic recording.

Like all Fossify apps they are amazing. Very stable and great support. No ads, tracking, AI, and everything stays on the phone. All the basic features are covered including sdcard support. The only things missing are being able to select normal mic, auto gain control, manual mic gain and vu meters.

Love the overarching ethos around privacy, thank you. I also enjoy the straightforward simplicity of the interface. That said, it would greatly increase usability if I was able to sort recordings by name rather than creation time. And a tagging-filtering capacity, or folders, virtual or real, would also be supportive. Or, is the intent to focus on recording, and leave access management to another app?
