Ratings and reviews

Pros: opensource, hash calculation (though no manual control), no ads. But the UI is low density, both because of spacing and fixed elements that waste a lot of space. There are also non-ideal ideas, like Move target selection not using the usual full UI and instead opening a smaller popup. Not a fan of the New button floating over the file list, and more. There is potential, but as it currently is I find other file managers more useful.

Use nearly all the fossi apps as there are not any embedded ads or trackers, are smaller in size, and use less resources. Unfortunately, fossi apps may be disappearing this Fall when Google takes control of all android phones. Unfortunately, no one, including Google's AI, will answer whether fossi apps will be pulled from the store. If so, three new non-android phones will be purchased to maintain some freedom, much less if any surveillance, and AI intrusion. Google is out-of-control.

Finally! A file manager that feels desktop-like to use while having a clean mobile interface. Being Private, free and open-source definitely a plus! No longer have to deal with the nonsense that is Google Files or the seemingly abandoned built-in Android file explorer. Kinda wish there was a dedicated screen showing currently running file management tasks.
