About this app

We believe that if your computer keyboard doesn't ask for internet access, neither should your mobile keyboard. FUTO Keyboard is a modern keyboard app with voice input that is completely offline and never connects to the internet, in order to ensure your privacy and security.

FUTO Keyboard contains modern features such as autocorrect, voice input and swipe typing. It is also configurable to suit your personal taste.

Note: FUTO Keyboard is currently under construction and in "open testing". Some features, such as swipe typing, theming, autocorrect are unfinished. You may also run into some bugs and crashes. We appreciate reports and feedback and we are actively working on the app to make improvements.

Ratings and reviews

The keyboard is pretty good, but has some minor odd quirks/missing features I would want, as you'd expect with an alpha product. But the text to speech is absolutely amazing! It's way better than Google's. The slide typing is the worst part of it. It's pretty sketchy. But it DOES keep a clipboard history. You just need to go to the clipboard manager, NOT the regular clipboard button. Scroll to the right. You can click and drag to reorder the buttons.

It's a decent keyboard but it needs a lot more work for it to be better than Gboard I downloaded because the idea of it not collecting any data is very appealing unfortunately it's not great. Currently the autocorrect is... Interesting. I would even go so far as to say it's schizophrenic in what it recommends and The swipe is equally bad. The absence of a clipboard also makes the user experience just a bit worse. I do like the voice typing and I'm willing to come back to it once it gets better

For some reason it always starts messages in all caps. The autocorrect isn't always working either. (In that sentence, "isn't" didn't correct, neither did "didn't" just now). Also, for an example, I've used the phrase "Elle Belle" at least a couple hundred times, and it still hasnt registered that "belle" should be the next predictive text when I type "Elle". I'll come back in a couple updates, but it's just slightly more annoying than I want to deal with. Keep up the good work though, thank you
