I downloaded this to connect to an arduino uno. Although the app works, and appears to connect to the arduino, it is not a reliable connection and won't send text to the device.

Hlello Hugh, sorry to read about the unreliable connection issue. Please ensure the Baud rate in the app matches your Arduino sketch exactly. Also, connection drops are often caused by a loose or low-quality USB-OTG adapter. If a new cable doesn't fix it, please open an issue on GitHub with your device details and app version so I can help!

This app is pretty nice for communication between Arduino and Android but I would've been more better if we could upload and write code in it

Seems fairly good. It would be nice if they GitHub project was lined and there was a clear button thoguh.
