About this app

IR Blaster turns your Android device into a universal infrared remote for compatible phones, USB IR dongles and audio to IR adapters.

Create custom remotes, send hex and raw IR signals, import existing IR files, and test unknown commands from one app. IR Blaster is built for users who want a practical Android infrared remote with deeper control over protocols, timings, and hardware.

Why use IR Blaster

- Universal Infrared remote for Android
- Works with built in IR emitters, supported USB IR dongles, and audio to IR adapters
- Create and manage fully custom remotes
- Send raw IR patterns and protocol based commands
- Signal Tester helps discover unknown IR codes
- Learning mode on supported hardware
- Import Flipper Zero .ir files
- Import IRPLUS .irplus and XML files
- Import LIRC .conf, .cfg, and .lirc files
- Export and back up your remotes

Built for real IR workflows

Control TVs, air conditioners, set top boxes, projectors, fans, and other infrared devices when you already have compatible codes or want to discover them with Signal Tester or learning mode.

Multiple transmit options

- Built in IR emitter on supported Android devices
- Supported USB IR dongles
- Audio to IR adapters in mono 1 LED or stereo 2 LED anti phase mode

Learning mode

Capture signals from compatible remotes and reuse them in your own layouts. Learning mode is available on supported hardware, including ZaZa Remote Tiqia and Elksmart dongles.

Import and reuse existing IR libraries

Move your existing Flipper Zero, IRPLUS, and LIRC files to Android and reuse them inside custom remotes. IR Blaster also supports JSON backup and restore for easy migration.

For advanced users

IR Blaster supports multiple infrared protocols including NEC, RC5, RC6, Sony, Samsung, Panasonic Kaseikyo, JVC, Denon, Thomson, and raw timing mode for precise mark and space control.

totally love this app but please add a way to test all power button codes for a single model at once . it's so hard to get the right ir code for your tv if you don't know its exact model . also the brute force page is kind of complicated . the option to record signals is hidden in settings down too that's a great feature it should be more highlighted . also love the mocros so much

Hello, thanks for your feedback. We have a TVKill option in the settings that will trigger all power-off buttons for a given brand

Kindly add " O General " in your list of brands. There's LG, Samsung, Sony & even Mitsubishi but not O General. Edit :- In Signal Tester, select database, Under database assisted search try "O General". Nothing comes up. But in Add Remote, import from DB, yes " O General " is present.

Hello, can you please check again? O General remote is in the list of brands, so I think you may have overlooked it. Edit: good catch it will be fixed in the next release next week. Could please at the same time change the rating of one start you gave me please? Edit 4: Fixed in the latest version, please update and let me know how it goes!
