It's okay for reading. I only use it because NYPL got rid of some of their other ebook apps. Notifications don't work: I've lost holds because I didn't realize they were available. There are no push notifications or emails. There's no way to set this up within the app. You're given a very short window of time to collect a hold: less than 24 hours, otherwise the book is gone.

OK for just reading. But goes wacko when you try to highlight more than 1 word, for instance to copy or translate it. Tries to highlight half the page instead of what you want, and then you have to tap the screen a bunch of times before it finally calms down and cancels the highlighting. Translation is the main reason I use e-Readers, so this app doesn't work for me.

The app works terribly for audiobooks. You can't pause, rewind or anything without it crashing. It always go back to x1 speed which is crazy slow. Speeding up is likely to cause it to crash. It takes forever to try to find your spot because anything you do causes crashing, so I end up re-listening to a lot.
