The Old and New Testament (Holy Injil) as published in Dari at afghanbibles.org is now made available for your Android Phone!

Simply browse the books you want. Pinch-zoom and swipe left/right are supported (double-click to zoom on older devices)

Newer devices can search and follow cross-references, as well as share verses and pictures. Daily reminder options are also now included.

This application includes code needed to display Dari ligatures on your Android device, as well as the offline text so that no internet access is necessary.

On some devices, permission may be requested to store the app on your SD card or similar file area.

Ratings and reviews

Great! Has audio for many books and they are adding more books from time to time. Text is highlighted when it's being read, and audio automatically goes to next chapter. Great for learning (reading) dari. Looks pretty, the screenshot on the play store page don't do the app justice, it looks better in-app than the screenshots on the store page. One downside for me is that you can't scroll through the Bible, you have to swipe pages which can slow down searching and disrupt reading flow.
