About this app
"Equalizer Helper" borns with the intent to help on the move calibration of audio devices dedicated to Car HiFi and it already contains some preset for some common used dsp or equalizers.
Nothing stops you from using this app in home ambits, further more if you have suggestions or you want a new preset to be added to the list feel free to contact me!
The signal generator uses the highest sampling frequency available on the Android device, commonly it is also the least, and by now it only produces a sine wave. Once selected a preset on the main screen will be shown a list of frequencies divided in 3 columns: the first one for generating a signal on the left channel only, the middle one for generating a stereophonic signal, the third one for the right channel only.
Sterephonic signal is 50% of a single channel one in order to evaluate speaker's phase: stereophonic perceived intensity must be the same of single channel.
