Have had my Samsung galaxy S8 for a while and I keep waiting for St George to make Tap and Pay available for this device. I even called the call centre and, by the sound of it, it won't be available any time soon. In a generation where most people exchange devices every 1 or 2 a years, to take almost 6 months to make such a basic upgrade is very detrimental to your business... Just saying.
How much longer do we have to wait for Tap &Pay to be supported on the S8? It is only an incremental change. Lift your Services St. George. 3 months already and the next phone will be released in August. Tired of the lip service.
I had fingerprint untill a few weeks ago and I can't turn it back on??? Not a very well designed app as you have to logout and u save all of your card details to change a password setting? Also the quick pay section the android back button does not work and you have to close app and open again to get back to where you were.
Tap & Pay is the worst in the world it does not work and it's 2017!!! 3rd world countries don't have problems like this, Widget is a waste of time, does not update. Don't waste your time go with another bank. June 2017 And After a recent update it still doesn't work!!
I've been waiting to be able to tap with my phone using your app for years. In all your wisdom you released a watch app before you released this very basic feature. Now I find that your amazing short sightedness now fails to update this feature for Samsung's flagship S8 phone, months after this phone is released. When Apple or Samsung release a flagship model most tech companies are ready and waiting to apply their products to be used with these devices. Please get someone new to run your app development, someone that understands the pace of technological advancement and can provide relevant services in an appropriate time frame.
Confusing layout and navigation combined with lack of tap and pay on everything but Samsung devices makes a lackluster experience. Now that Westpac supports Android Pay there is no excuse for the latter any more. Lift your game.
