About this app

The app allows you to use BirdID's (birdid.no) quiz and bird book on your Android device. You can download the entire bird book with sounds and images to use offline or load what you need online when needed. The book currently contains approx. 380 species but is constantly expanding. The content is updated automatically. The quiz function gives you access to all of BirdID's 45,000 tasks on your Android device. It is also possible to download quiz sets for offline use so that you can take the quiz with you, or practice the same set many times. The application requires some memory on your phone. The app is provided by Nord Universitet.

I very much like the learning part of the app. You can select birds by your country and learn by songs or images, very useful, also can be downloaded for offline use. In that regard it is by far the best I've seen among bird apps. App itself sometimes hangs, but simple restart helps, so it does not disturb much. Would be nice to have the option to save data to SD card.

Great app, options for sound and picture exercises, all for free and without advertising, thank you very much guys. The only thing that bothers me is that as far as I can see you can't change the difficulty setting for downloaded picture and sound exercises and species often repeat in downloaded sets. Other than that, fantastic app!

After the latest update of the app, there is an issue with the photos of the birds in birds guide. When the app language is set to Bulgarian, the photos are not downloaded correctly. With the english version are loaded. Tested on Xiaomi mi a3, android 9. Also I can't manually change the language of the app, it' using my system language. thanks, Lyubomira
