both options: listening in a browser or via the app, have the same problem: all adds stop the music and you have to re-open the station, launch it, watch (!!!) the add and only then it can work as a radio in the background. I do not mind listening some adds but very annoyed that it requires my attention, action and does not allow running the station in the background

The worst radio ever. I bought subscription to check it out. After a while I wanted to resign and it is not that easy until today. You can't do it on their website, I tried to email them a few times but no answer. Plus after a while it looked like I could not use this radio with subscription I boight it(without adverts etc.), it was asking me all the time if I want to upgrade while I aleadr did it. Obviously they have been taking money every single month. Don't recommend at all!!!!!!

Eight years in to using Open FM and the latest update basically broke the app. Half the time the station I select won't load an no play button shows. When I do get to press play I have to suffer 60 seconds of non shippable VIDEO ads, so if I want to just turn the radio on and put my phone in my pocket I can't. Lastly, once I finally get the station to play, with the same music it had for the past eight years btw, I'll get a audio ad that won't load, so the music stops and nothing happens.
