Igbos, live in southeastern Nigeria, generally in the area of the Niger delta. As with most languages, theirs has (or did have) several dialects. Anglican missionary work there originated with the CMS in 1870, and coincided with the publication of the first Igbo BCP, in the Isuama dialect. There was one additional translation in this dialect, one in the Lower Igbo dialect, and two in the Upper Igbo (or Onitsha) dialect.
The text used here is the current translation, called Igbo Union, of the 1662 BCP. It was first published around 1945, but with several earlier components. It also includes an Appendix of various services and prayers.

You have a great app with the best user interface and user experience. But please, it will be great if you add features like: 1. Tunes (More like a Piano style tune) 2. Make the speed adjustable just in case the user wants to sing at a particular tempo of their choice. 3. Let it play all through until the user decides to tap the Pause (⏸️) or Stop (🛑) button, even when the verses have finished. This is because it may give some users the pleasure of listening to the tunes repeated...

Good job on the app. Some hymns are not complete or have errors. The hymn grouping is also not correct. Please work on it.

The canticles are not coming up when opened. it was showing at first till I was asked to update, it stopped after the update. I uninstalled and installed it back but same problem persist. other parts are working fine.
