It's simple and fast, but lately I've seen it hang, where it remains on the screen and is totally unresponsive to user input until you force-restart the app that you're typing in. I've seen this behavior occur with Google Calendar and Google Keep. The frustrating thing is that this issue seems to recur randomly, with no clear way to reproduce. I'm using a Pixel 5A, not rooted, using the default Pixel launcher, so I'm not sure what could be causing the problem.

I wanted to like this keyboard -- it's simple interface is very attractive but if it was my main keyboard, it wouldn't be productive. I'm so used to swipe typing on Android, I can't switch back. I also really like that it doesn't collect data, but I'm really frustrated by the tap typing. I have found a anti-tracking workaround for the most part, but if this app had more typing capabilities, I would keep. Mainly have an anti track training on the bg drains battery.

I was looking for a keyboard that would just let me type and not automatically insert "corrections" or offer options to distract me while I am working. This app is very polite, only highliting typos in red and allowing me to choose a correction. I get to do my own spacing, punctuation and capitalization. The setup choices are useful. Having long touch characters clearly visible and an optional number line lets me stay on the main board. This app doesn't think its smarter than me, I like that!
