The first keyboard that I had used way back 2013 was swiftkey keyboard. But then the features were limited despite having that accurate gestures and stuff. So I tried using many different keyboard till I settled with fleksy keyboard for like 3 years. But I miss the gliding feature in typing and tried the Google keyboard and wasn't that fond of the limited features so I went back here and the swiftkey had done so many great improvements along with the predictive text and more free themes! Plus the clip feature was new to me. Keep up the great update!
I've never seen auto-spacing this jacked up, with no option to change it. Press period after space, it removes the space, so you have to space twice. Press : to type a URL, it adds a space, so you have to delete it. There are pages and pages of people on their support forums wanting auto-spacing TURNED OFF, but the devs do not listen. Too bad this massive headache smashes the app's potential to smithereens. D:
Switched from Google keyboard) I am using 3 languages and it works beautifully. One thing that really bothers me though is that order of languages is constantly changing, so I can't know if I need to swipe left or right on space bar to switch to desired language. It can keep the order for a week and then it will change it. Please fix this
Finally an android app that can compete with Apple's keyboard with decent autocorrect out-of-the-box. So much better than stock Google keyboard imo. If SwiftKey only included built-in Immersive typing somehow, would be even better. The navigation bar gets in the way sometimes.
When I try to add a Gif in the middle of a text thread it creates a new message and I have to input the recipients. This is a real pain if the thread contains many people. Why can it not just add the Gif into the conversation that I'm already in and viewing? Instead it makes you go through a bunch of extra steps.
I have a Pixel 2 XL (coming from OnePlus 5) and when using LINE and WhatsApp I notice that when I type a word it will lag for a second then work normally again. This happens far too often and most notably when I receive a message from the person I'm talking to. On my OnePlus 5 it worked perfectly well so I don't see why it shouldn't work as well on the most optimised version of Android (Pixel 2 XL). It's extremely irritating.
