I just bought a Huawei Nova 2i and not only is the phone a brilliant phone, craps all over Samsung (have always been an android fan) but I find this app runs very well. I've had no issues so far if anything my typing has gotten faster and it's prediction is pretty good. I doesn't make my phone sluggish, I've had no issues using it with other apps. Definitely pretty responsive

This has always been my favorite keyboard app - I've used it for years. Unfortunately, I can't use it with my new Pixel XL 2 as it constantly hangs up, especially with Google messenger and Roboform. I don't know if this is a Google or a Swiftkey issue, but either way, I hope they fix it soon.

Frustration at the moment. It does not auto-capitalise with physical android keyboard. I've tried more than one physical keyboard so it's not the keyboard's fault. Would love for this to be fixed. Getting tired of manually capitalising after punctuation. Only a problem when there is a physical keyboard. Edit: Made it five stars again because I found the problem. The setting is located in other inputs such as voice and external keyboard. It has it's own auto-capitilization setting.

English keyboard is good which is expected. But for Chinese keyboard, there is no choice of Pinyin at Traditional Chinese, and even the Simplified Chinese, the prediction is terribly lack of choices, even those words I always type, they don't raise to the top automatically, I still have to search for long time for my frequently used words. As I'm using Huawei Mate 10, the best in China, and SwiftKey, being the build in keyboard of Huawei phones, should make a big effort to it.

Please fix this issue. whenever I open the app to change theme etc everything is so slow and laggy. This is also true when I'm writing in Japanese all the characters are lagging while I'm typing and sometimes I have to end up waiting a few seconds for them to appear. This doesn't happen with English or other languages that use the standard roman alphabet.

Still the issue not solved... in WhatsApp while entering security key after three digits next three digit cannot be entered as the cursor comes again at the fourth position again and again. 06/11/2017 - Sill same error can not enrer code. So switched to Gboard.. Which works perfect

Typing isn't as fluid as it used to be, was the best keyboard around. Now isn't as repsonsive, sometimes I'm typing pretty fast two handed and it goes it the swipe nonsense which I've already disabled. Now prediction is going out of hand, especially with hastags, predicting things I'd never use even when I remove them several times it starts predicting similar garbage. Had to switch over to Gboard, although SwiftKey has better prediction and corrections. It just isn't as repsonsive as it used to be. I don't get the same issue with Gboard but I do miss the corrections.

This used to be THE best keyboard. Recently however, many of my words have disappeared and everyday words are no longer available when using swipe so I have to manual type them and then swiftkey still changes the word afterwards. I'm uninstalling and going back to a generic keyboard until you can fix this frustrating nonsense.
I've had SwiftKey on and off past 5 years. It works well and learns how you construct your sentences and anticipates what you about to type at 96%. Well done!!!! I'm not sure about the GIFF animation files which possibly slows down the performance or making it complicated when selecting a smiley, although I have used them. It is a very good keyword.
I really wish you could swipe left on the delete button to erase the whole last word typed. Also wish that the long press for the exclamation point and question mark were on different keys. It would make things soooo much more efficient.
It's great for customizing. But there's a few problems. I think that The Japanese keyboard needs to be fixed. It's difficult to get a small γγγ I can't even find the " mark. Japan has a different one from English.
Double word predictions are the WORST! I used to love swiftkey, but the typing experience is seriously deteriorating due to double word predictions being terrible. Here is an example: "Hey, I'm going to try and get it milk." What I wanted to type was: "Hey, I'm going to try and get milk" Where did the 'and', 'it' come from? If you insist on double word predictions, please make sure they are only the left and right predictions, and not the centre one. If you can fix that, back to 5 stars. Oh the paste most recently copied text is BRILLIANT, by the way.
I like the word predictions, but I wish clicking on the backspace would remove the whole word I just typed (in the case of getting a word I didn't want) instead of doing a single backspace. I would also like long-press shortcuts on the keyboard.
This is the best keyboard on any smartphone! But why am I unable to download any new themes on my Note 8? It just says downloading and then force closes.
Swift Key support ABSOLUTELY ROCKS! There was an issue with an error message, "oops,something went wrong on our side" Matt and Swift Key support team worked until it was resolved and communicated progress along the way. AWESOME APP and AWESOME SUPPORT! π
Is there any option to put the arrow keys at the top or literally anywhere but the very bottom? This seems like the worst place possible
The best virtual keyboard on the market. No ads, directional arrow pad, & awesome prediction function that works when glide typing in English and Tagalog languages. On top of that it is customizable.
What is going on? All of a sudden it's become so buggy. I'm really tired of this app repeatedly becoming unusable, every couple of months. Will wait for one more update..

Absolutely saved me from screaming at my Galaxy S7 and their updated sorry accuse for swype. It's very predictable and intuitive... And quickly gets familiarized with your style of texting.
I love this app, but lately I keep getting random popups asking me whether I want to use the SwiftKey or Samsung keyboard. I'll change to five stars if somebody can help me out. I've disabled all other keyboards, and others online have mentioned a button to the right of the back button, but I don't have that. Help please :)
Swipe is worst.. You try to write fluently but it overwrites. Eg. You write four letters fluently and get one (the last one or sometimes very different word). Feel like hanging in typing too. Prediction get bad too. But new addition copy paste is cool addition. Overall not happy with this version. Thinking of uninstallation of this app. You could have 4-5 rating for earlier version. But for this u get only 2 rating because of copy paste addition and I'm your old user. Typing this took very much time too.. Unhappy
I tried so many poor quality Keyboards but this is the Best I have found. Interestingly enough, I have since rethought my accolade because this App does not work in my Android eMail system in both my LG Optimus 3D P725 nor my LG Optimus 3D P920. After my first sentence the App switches to CAPS Lock and there appears to be no cure. Not recommended for LG phones.
The best. No other key board is better than swift keyboard app.only one Emoji the green leaves should be three in state of bunch of six.
It's better than most keyboards, but a lot of the times it thinks I'm writing 'is', but I was writing 'it's'. Also I wish there's a way to quickly change language settings so I don't have to drive deep in the settings to switch between EspaΓ±ol and English.

My previous keyboard took so long to pop up that I dreaded using it. I decided to give this one a try and I'm so glad I did. It's very fast and easy to use.
This app was five stars I got an update January 8th and basically they changed the size of the keyboards so if you have fat fingers or big heads it's no longer usable I don't understand why they just didn't make more sizes for everybody instead of taking away sizes.

It's OK. Swiping still skips around sometimes. Not sure why. Seems random moments. Axon 7. Also no dark blue starry theme like I saw on iPhone?

This review is based solely on the fact that there is no ability to toggle between languages. That seems like the most basic issue. I don't know how things work with languages that don't share the same characters. So with both French and English installed, the auto-complete now has double the opportunity to go wrong. I often get a completely unrelated word in the opposite language that I'm trying to use. I often have to single type each character to get the right word after 4-5 attempts. This makes the app effectively useless. Because it is preinstalled, I'm not sure if I can get rid of it. Basic functionality is fine. Autocorrect still prioritizes celebrity names over common words.
Was very good I loved it Until i updated it then the trouble started . anytime I use it to attempt to unlock my phone password the phone will keep saying incorrect password until I change and use another keyboard. Have tried to fix it for days now but have had no positive results . please fix it .
I reinstal and then boom! I turn off autocorrect but It's still running. It's very annoying! I love this keyboard app, but this is problem make me super disappointed!
Best keyboard app! It continues to work very well for me and the predictions are accurate and useful. Plus, I can use my Microsoft account to keep things in sync. Thanks! :)
We can't use a font like Italian bold and much other various font which looks attractive. This font is simple and nothing extra ordinary. Make stylish font so look attractive writing
Please return note 8 keyboard size to the ginormous version :/ or at least make it an option. On the largest settings on the note 8 the keyboard is smaller than the medium setting on my galaxy s7 edge
