About this app

This keyboard is created for those who only need a keyboard and nothing more.

To enable the keyboard:
* Open "Simple Keyboard" from your launcher
* Enable the Simple Keyboard (default system warning about tracking will be shown)
* Switch to Simple Keyboard from current Input Method (differs between keyboards, usually long-press space)
* To edit Simple Keyboard settings long-press "," or open system Settings, Languages & Input, Simple Keyboard.
* You can enable/disable all the input methods in Settings, Languages & Input, Manage Keyboards (differs between phones)

* Adjustable keyboard height for more screen space

* Swipe space to move pointer
* Delete swipe
* Custom theme colors
* Minimal permissions (only Vibrate)
* Ads-free

Features it doesn't have and probably will never have:
* Emojis
* GIFs
* Spell checker
* Swipe typing

So far its perfect for replacing Gboard. Idk y they suddenly changed the layout. Once I went in and change the setting preferences its like home! I dont have any predictive text poppin up at the top but that doesnt mean its not possible but I havent delved into the full settings. However I did change some and its just fine for me. I just have to correct my own writing but my fingers fit pretty well. I havent seen any ads yet and I havent paid any $ either soooo.

Just fantastic. I only now realized how much space gboard was taking up for the last 2 years, full of nonsense features I NEVER used. Plus I found the amount of User Data it needed was bizarre for a FLIPPING keyboard. Just swapped it out with this, set the Material Light Border theme, and it feels like nothing's changed. I'm definetely making typos a bit more, but I'll adjust eventually. Seriously, I can not thank you enough for this app.

Finally found the perfect keyboard. I was getting really tired of the heavy emoji/GIF keyboards suspiciously pushing for permissions and adding features that are really NOT necessary for everyday needs. My fingers kept hitting their additional icons, causing me to accidentally load their app or something else. I've only been using this one for a minute and the simplicity is already a breath of fresh air. And it still looks good. Obviously I will update if anything comes up, but otherwise - TY!
