Wakivo turns your Android phone into the power button for your computer.

Lock it, put it to sleep, restart it or shut it down from across the house — and wake it back up with a real Wake-on-LAN magic packet before you sit down at your desk.

POWER CONTROL
• Lock, Sleep, Restart and Shut down, sent straight to your computer
• A ten-second countdown on restart and shutdown, so a mistap is never final
• Cancel from the phone, or from the notification on the computer itself
• Wake-on-LAN that sends a genuine 102-byte magic packet, not a ping

• Schedules are kept by the computer, so they run whether or not your phone is nearby

NOT A REMOTE DESKTOP — AND THAT IS THE POINT
Wakivo cannot see your screen. It has no keyboard or mouse control, no access to your files, and no terminal. The connection carries a fixed list of eight power actions and nothing else. There is no way to ask it for anything more, which is exactly why it is safe to leave running.

BUILT TO BE TRUSTED
• Pairing needs someone at the computer to press Allow — a correct code is not enough on its own
• Scan a QR code or type a six-digit code that expires in two minutes
• Every command is encrypted and signed; your computer rejects anything it cannot verify, and replayed commands are refused
• Your fingerprint or screen lock can be required before a destructive command
• Review every paired device and revoke any of them instantly
• A full activity log of every command, including the ones that were refused
• Pause remote control entirely from the computer
• Your computer's password is never asked for, never stored, and never sent

FREE ON YOUR OWN WI-FI
On your own network, Wakivo works with no account and no internet connection at all. Your phone talks to your computer directly. Nothing about your computer leaves your network, because no server is involved.

WAKIVO PRO — FOR EVERYWHERE ELSE
Reaching your computer when you are not on its network needs an account and Wakivo Pro, $2.99 a month. Commands stay encrypted end to end: our servers route them without being able to read them, and they never hold your computer's password or its private keys. Everything on your own Wi-Fi stays free.

HONEST ABOUT THE HARD PARTS
• A magic packet wakes a sleeping machine. Nothing on a network can start one that is fully powered off — that is what scheduled startup is for.
• Wake-on-Wi-Fi is not Wake-on-Ethernet. Wakivo detects a rotating private Wi-Fi address and tells you when a stored MAC has gone stale.
• With full-disk encryption on, a computer that powers on stops at the unlock screen and cannot log in unattended. Wakivo reads the actual state and says so, rather than promising a relaunch it cannot deliver.

REQUIRES THE FREE COMPANION APP
Wakivo needs the companion agent running on the computer you want to control: macOS 13 or later, or a Linux desktop with a systemd session. Both are free downloads. Without one, this app has nothing to pair with.
