Overall I like the idea behind the system, but you need to fix the basic problems with the app! Multiple updates so far and a lot of things are still screwed up if you set the units to imperial. For example, the app asks for your weight (no units, so lbs is implied), then proceeds to convert it as if you had entered it in kg. Even worse, if you click on weight again it preloads with the converted lbs weight which will again be converted. Also, a lot of the metrics displays don't match the text or graphs when the units are set to imperial. Finally, if you lose Bluetooth connection to one, or both, pod(s) during a run it doesn't try to reconnect.
I have used this app for a couple of months and here is my initial response: The app is very well made and highly recommendable. However there are a few things I experienced. 1. The first phone I tested it with (An older Xperia Z model) lost connection to the pods now and then. After an phone upgrade to Xperia XZ, this never seem to occur (unless you forget to charge the pods). This may indicate that newer bluetooth hw/sw is required on your phone for stable operation 2. Once everything is up and running and you are testing the coached trials, you experience that some of the feedback tend to be affected by some of the noise in the data. Maybe a longer moving average to base the coach feedback on could be nice. 3. I think the screening runs are a bit too short. At least when you are practicing new techniques it takes a km to find the rhythm. 4. The app should definitely have a built in metronome to be able to better achieve the steps per minute goals Happy running!
Connection issues with the app requires me to hold pods next to phone for a while until it does which is a hassle. Fix this please
Great app idea but user interface is buggy. I hope shft releases an update soon!
App crashes when connecting to the pods
Crashes when I try to start a run.
Thanks for using SHFT! We continuously update and improve the app to give you the best possible experience when running.
This update improves performance and stability of the app.
