About this app

Dashwall puts a Home Assistant dashboard straight on your home screen — not as a picture of the web page, but as real Android views. Switches actually switch, thermostats actually adjust, and everything is drawn from your own dashboard configuration.

No ads, no tracking, no accounts, no subscription. It talks to your Home Assistant and to nothing else.

WHAT IT DOES • Reads your Lovelace dashboard from Home Assistant and renders it natively • Tiles, headings, gauges, weather forecast, entity pictures and maps • Line, bar and trend charts built from your own history and long-term statistics • Toggle lights and switches, run scenes and scripts, press buttons • Adjust thermostat target temperature, send vacuum start / pause / dock • Tap any card to open the full dashboard in a built-in full-screen view

FOLLOWS YOUR CONFIGURATION Dashwall does not invent its own layout. It reads the settings you already have in Home Assistant: the 12-column section grid, card colours, chart type, line width and fill, hours to show, statistics period, decimal precision from the entity registry, and the show/hide flags on each card. Change the dashboard in Home Assistant and the widget follows.

BUILT FOR THE HOME SCREEN • Several widgets side by side, each with its own account, dashboard and view • Switch views straight from the widget with the tab strip • Refresh interval per widget, with a live "time since last update" • Czech and English, switchable in the app • Runs on the cover screen of Galaxy foldables — 2x2, 4x2 and a full-screen 4x4 tile • No ads, no analytics, no in-app purchases

PRIVACY Your token and settings stay on the device. The widget talks to your own Home Assistant server and to nothing else — with one exception you control: if you turn on the map background, map tiles are fetched from the tile server you configure (OpenStreetMap by default), which necessarily learns the approximate location of the entities shown. Turn it off and no third party is contacted.

A NOTE FROM THE DEVELOPER This is a private, non-commercial project. Not every Home Assistant card and option is implemented yet — anything the widget cannot draw natively opens in Home Assistant instead. If something you need is missing, write to info@schematic.cz and I will see what can be done.

Dashwall is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Home Assistant project or Nabu Casa, Inc. "Home Assistant" is used only to describe compatibility.

What’s new

• No more flicker: the widget no longer reloads and jumps back to the top after every update or tap. This also fixes the constant refreshing seen with some launchers (e.g. Microsoft Launcher).
• The "last updated" counter now resets as soon as you tap refresh.
• Switching views on a slow connection no longer snaps back to the previous view.
• Every view keeps its last known values, so switching tabs is instant – even offline.
• Resizing the widget is instant, without a network round trip.
