About this app

In Östgötatrafiken’s new app you can buy tickets and search for trips quickly and easily. In addition to a single ticket and 24-hour pass, you are now also able to purchase 30-day and 365-day passes.
You will also get access to discounts and our new zones.

In the app, you can:
- Buy a single ticket as well as 24-hour, 30-day, and 365-day passes.
- Log in to My Account to register your ticket for our Ticket Protection Plan in case you lose your phone. When logged in, you are also able to temporarily share your active 30-day pass.
- Find the fastest route on a map and check the entire trip from door to door.
- Save favourites and quickly search for new trips.
- Receive information in the journey planner about disruptions.

Östgötatrafiken’s new app is constantly evolving and more services will be added in time.

You can pay through Swish, with a payment card issued by Mastercard or Visa, or with invoices from Swedbank Pay. You can even get a purchase receipt via email.

We use our app permissions for the following (all are optional):
• Location: to show your current location when searching for a trip
• Contacts: to easily find a telephone number when temporarily sharing tickets

The steps required to buy a ticket is non intuitive. Ticket tab really should include an buy button, also when you have searched a trip the button should say "buy ticket" rather then "select ticket" when you don't have any tickets available to make it more clear. Please consider adding "back" the flow where you can buy tickets based on available "tickets/zones" rather then being forced to search a route first (like the old app). You should be able to buy a ticket using one hand only!

Worse than previous app It is confusing, it misleads you to think a ticket is only between two stops. You have to know the name of stops, no default tickets, a hassle and not move for people from out of the area. Activating tickets immediately is on by default, should be the reverse, activate when you need it. A big downgrade from previous app.

Hej. Om du tittar på en biljett så står det län, stadszon med mera och inte två adresser. En länsbiljett täcker hela länet under 2 timmar. Från och till är ett sätt att hitta rätt biljett för dig. Det finns några sätt att köpa en biljett, exempelvis sök resa genom att ange adress, hållplats eller placera markeringar i kartan. //Samuel

One of the worst if not the worst transport system in all of Sweden. For someone like me, who has been traveling for 17 years, I can 100% say that it is better to have a car than using östgötatraffiken. Trains dirty, busses always late and unbelievably expensive tickets. It's cheaper to ride a motor cycle for a year than traveling with östgötatraffiken. Sometimes when trains are canceled you'd have to wait 2-3 hours to get a reserve buss. No to mention the app could take hours to be up to date.
