App was great initially, but now that they are pushing the "Plus" subscription, it's not. I get all kinds of alerts from outside the area I want and cant adjust without subscribing. Notices of registered offenders pop up all the time, but need plus to see them. If I try to check a report I missed - nope - need plus for that too. If I need plus for everything, no point in keeping it. The neighborhood FB page posts the info just as quick. Pretty sure this is gonna be uninstalled very soon.

I had this app a while back & it was great to keep up to date with stuff going on around town. I live in Memphis which is high crime, so the amount of alerts started to stress me out & I deleted it. Recently re-downloaded but now there's never any alerts bc everything has to be through plus. Every alert I get is out of state, & if I try to look locally there's "nothing". I just know that's not true

As a tool to see what events to be aware of in your community, this app fails terribly in almost every way. More often than not, your location won't update, so if you have alerts set up, they'll likely be coming from an outdated location. Not to mention the aggressive pushing for Citizen Protect, which locks basic features like the "offenders" tab's registry photos and current address behind a paywall, which is and always has been public domain, and asks you to pay to view "premium" information.
