A home screen that feels calm, fast and made for your phone.
Parallel is a minimal Android launcher built around a simple idea: everything you need, right where your thumb rests. Your apps live on Home, your favourites sit in a slim side dock, and the whole screen moves with smooth, natural motion.
A dock beside your thumb
The dock runs down the side of the screen instead of along the bottom, so your most used apps are always one easy reach away. Put it on the left or right, and it sizes itself to your apps.
Made for foldables
On foldable phones, Parallel adapts to both screens. Keep one layout for both, or give the unfolded screen its own apps, widgets and icon sizes.
Real glass, your wallpaper
Parallel uses your own Android wallpaper. The dock and controls can bend the wallpaper behind them like real glass, and menus, folders and search blur softly over it.
Widgets that fit in
Add widgets from any app, or use Parallel's own clock and calendar. Hold a widget to pick it up, drop it anywhere, resize it, and apps and other widgets move aside to make room.
Make it yours
• Icon shapes: squircle, teardrop, circle or square
• Icon packs and themed icons that match your wallpaper
• Adjustable icon and label size, or hide app names
• Rename apps and hide the ones you don't want to see
• Light, dark, automatic, or sunrise-to-sunset appearance
Gestures that save time
Swipe down for notifications or quick settings, swipe up to search, and double-tap to lock the screen. Choose what each gesture does.
Fast search
Swipe up and type to find any app instantly, with a shortcut to search the web.
Everything at a glance
A small status sign beside the dock shows the time, battery, Wi‑Fi and mobile signal in one glance, or keep Android's regular status bar.
Notification badges
See which apps are waiting for you with a count or a simple dot.
Organised your way
Make folders by dropping one app onto another, lock your layout to prevent accidental changes, and back up or restore your whole home screen.
Private by design
Parallel has no ads and no account. Notification badges only count notifications and never read their content. Optional accessibility access is used only for the lock screen and recent apps gestures, and nothing else.
A guided setup walks you through everything on first launch, and you can change any setting later.
Parallel: a quieter, simpler home screen.
Home, reimagined. A calm launcher with a side dock and glass you can feel.
