About this app

CamRadar is a community-powered map for discovering surveillance cameras that have been mapped near your current location.

Use CamRadar to:

• View nearby camera locations from OpenStreetMap
• See camera type, direction, distance, and map position
• Receive optional alerts when approaching a mapped camera
• Choose your preferred alert radius, sound, and vibration
• Browse recently loaded areas while offline
• Add surveyed camera locations using a pin on the map
• Review, edit, or remove contributions before uploading
• Sign in with OpenStreetMap to submit verified locations
• Use the app in English or Vietnamese

Privacy and transparency

Background location monitoring is optional and can be disabled at any time. CamRadar uses location only to display nearby mapped cameras and provide alerts based on your selected settings.

CamRadar does not provide access to camera feeds, record video, identify people, or control surveillance devices. Camera information comes from public OpenStreetMap data and community contributions, so availability and accuracy may vary.

An OpenStreetMap account is only required when you choose to upload contributions. You can browse the map and nearby camera data without signing in.

Please survey responsibly, verify locations before uploading, and follow local laws and OpenStreetMap community guidelines.
