Noise meter and sound level recorder that runs overnight on its own. Leave your phone where the noise bothers you, tap Start, and go to sleep. Bruit detects noise events automatically, classifies what made them, and records audio proof — all while your screen is off.
CATCHES WHAT WOKE YOU UP
Most recording apps start capturing after you press a button. By then the noise is over. Bruit keeps a rolling audio buffer, so when it detects a noise event, the saved clip includes the seconds before the trigger. You hear what actually happened, not what came after.

Bruit automatically identifies each sound: music, impacts, barking, voices, vehicles, household noise, and more. Eleven categories, scored by confidence. Other apps just show you a decibel number. Bruit tells you what made it.

Sound metering follows the IEC 61672-1 international standard, the same spec used in professional sound level meters. Calibration offset corrects for your specific microphone.
