Parcelles Explorer is a private application, published by an individual. It is neither affiliated with, nor endorsed by, nor operated by any French government department, ministry, or public body, and does not provide any government services. It redistributes open public data, the official sources of which are listed at the bottom of this description. This data is provided for informational purposes only and has no official or legal value: only the information provided by the issuing organizations is authoritative.
'Parcelles Explorer' is a mobile real estate mapping application. It caters to both real estate professionals and individuals:
✓ prospecting,
✓ locating a property based on an advertisement,
✓ market information monitoring,
✓ searching for a property (house, apartment, or land),
✓ estimating prices in a given area,
✓ consulting zoning regulations and planning documents.
It allows you to view the following data for metropolitan France and its overseas departments:
✓ cadastral information: municipalities, plots, buildings, swimming pools,
✓ real estate transactions since 2014 (DVF data),
✓ street numbers (BAN),
✓ almost all of the first three pages of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) issued since July 2021,
✓ the Local Urban Development Plan (PLU): urban planning zones, documents,
✓ surface features: footprint, type, year of construction,
✓ co-ownerships,
✓ corporate owners,
✓ aerial and underground mapping of power lines (MV/LV) and substations operated by Enedis,
✓ the land parcel register (agricultural land use).
A plot of land can be located using its cadastral number, address, geographic coordinates, a map, mobile geolocation directly on the ground, or the plot search engine.
The application is free for basic features. Subscriptions provide access to map filters, street numbers, detailed Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), urban planning zones, co-ownerships, legal entities, the ENEDIS network, urban planning documents, address search, satellite imagery, ad removal, and advanced search.
The advanced cadastral search identifies plots based on their surface area, existing surface features (buildings, swimming pools, lakes), the city, and the urban planning zone. The advanced EPC search filters by rating, date, heating energy, and city.
